CUNY-TV created and aired this feature as their opening segment in Fall 2010. It provides an introduction to the New Media and the range of projects, while featuring three student projects, including my own. The entire piece is interesting, however, for your reference, my interview begins after an introduction by managing Director Andrea Ades Vasquez at minute 6:07.
My research was on the constructions of nature portrayed within car advertisements found in National Geographic Magazine. I created themed exhibitions in my digital archive. My Research Website is a living *document* that undergoes periodic updates and edits. Tt is the portal to the digital and visual components of my research: the archive, the timeline of American Environmentalism, Car Culture and Car Ads, and the soon to be published digital story based on a particularly persuasive car advertisement.
I discuss my experience working on this project in the CUNY New Media Lab in the video below.
